What To Expect During the Istanbul Full Day Old City And Bosphorus Tour?

First, we will pick you up from the hotel at 08:10 AM and then transfer you to the first stop point.

1. Our first destination is the Süleymaniye Mosque, which offers one of the best views of Istanbul. The Süleymaniye Mosque is an architectural masterpiece designed by the renowned Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan in the 16th century.
2. Later, we visit Saint Stephen’s Orthodox Church in Istanbul, also known as the Bulgarian Iron Church. This historic and unique church was constructed entirely of iron in the late 19th century.
3. Next, we head to the Patriarchal Church of Saint George, situated in Istanbul. This is a significant religious site for the Greek Orthodox community and serves as the principal church of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
4. Then we go to Balat and Fener, two historic neighbourhoods in Istanbul renowned for their vibrant atmosphere, colourful houses, and rich cultural heritage, including significant religious and ethnic diversity.
5. In the Eyup district, one of the oldest and most significant Muslim districts, we will have lunch that includes authentic Turkish food, a typical dessert, tea, and a non-alcoholic drink of your choice.
6. We continue our Tour and stop at the Hagia Sophia mosque, an iconic landmark in Istanbul. It is a marvel of Byzantine architecture, renowned for its majestic dome and rich history spanning over 1,500 years as a church, museum, and mosque.
7. Moving from the Hagia Sophia mosque to the next destination, we will also see the Hippodrome of Constantinople, once the heart of Byzantine social and political life. This ancient site features monuments such as the Obelisk of Theodosius and the Serpent Column.
8. On our way, we will visit the German Fountain in Sultanahmet Square, which was built in 1901 to honor German Emperor Wilhelm II’s visit. A gift from Germany, it features a neo-Byzantine design with mosaics and marble, symbolizing the friendship between the two empires.
9. After that, you will find yourself inside the Blue Mosque, also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, which has beautiful architecture. Once you have entered, visitors can marvel at the intricate interior and stunning architecture.
10. Next, we will visit Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, which was the residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years. Built in the 15th century, it’s now a museum known for its stunning architecture and historical artifacts.
11. At the end of our bus trip, we go to The Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, a bustling market in Istanbul where visitors can explore a myriad of aromatic spices, teas, Turkish delights, and other exotic goods.
12. Finally, we will embark on a free boat tour, a must-see attraction in Istanbul. The Tour will take two hours through the Bosphorus, with one hour on the European side and one hour on the Asian side.

Ending at 9:00 PM, we drop you back at your hotel.
